To help such students, the Government of Karnataka has launched an SSP Scholarship for poor students to provide scholarships directly to the bank account. To avail the scholarship benefits students should be pursuing class I to class X and the candidates should belong to minority communities. The SSP portal serves as a centralized application hub for all pre- and post-matriculating scholarships offered by the various State agencies. What is SSP Scholarship Karnataka?
Karnataka government has been always worried for their students better and brighter future and this the man factor that Karnataka government will launch this super scholarship scheme named SSP Scholarship with the objective to ensure their students social, economical and educational sustainable development in order to secure their better future and lifestyle. To ensure that every child receives an education, both state and central governments have implemented various schemes. Through this program, students can easily apply and avail of the benefits of the scholarship programme. SSP stands for State Scholarship Portal Scholarship. This program offers two main types of scholarships: pre-matric and post-matric scholarships. Pre-matric scholarships are available for students studying in classes 1 to 10, while post-matric scholarships are intended for students who have completed their 10th grade and wish to pursue higher education.

Benefits of SSP Scholarship Last Date
- Many students will get the rewards under the scholarship programme which are as follows:
- Students who are pursuing an M.Phil degree will get INR 8,000/- as a reward after the completion of the course and research work.
- Students Who are pursuing a PhD degree will get INR 10,000/- as a monetary reward after the completion of the course and research work.
- SSP Scholarship program covers all the primary expenses such as as tuition fees, book/materials etc.

SSP Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- The basic eligibility criteria of the scholarship is that the students should belong to a certain category which is SC, ST, OBC etc. And others are listed are below:
For Post-Matric Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants should belong to SC,ST, OBC or any other minority community.
- There will be reservation for the girls for the scholarship around 30%.
- Candidates must secure 50% marks in previous education qualification.
- Annual Income of the family should not exceed INR 2,00,000/-.
- The aspirants should belong to Karnataka or have a domicile in Karnataka.
- Candidates should be pursuing either Class 11. Class 12 B.Com or ITI Courses.
For Post-Matric Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicants should belongs to a certain category such as SC,ST, OBC or any other minority community.
- The candidates should be pursuing from class 1 to class 10.
- The students who are eligible for the scholarship by fulfilling the primary requirements need to apply via both the portals NSP and SSP.
- The students must secure 50â„… marks in their last examination.
- Annual family income should not exceed INR 1,00,000/-.
- The SSP Scholarship is given to the students whose parents are not into good occupations that they can provide the basic requirements such as education to their children.
- The aspirants should belong to Karnataka or have a domicile in Karnataka.

Procedure to Apply Under SSP Scholarship Programme
To apply under this scholarship programme applicants should follow the below mentioned steps:
- Visit the Official Website of SSP.
- On homepage click on click her to apply for the post-matric scholarship.
- Now click on Student Login.
- Enter your username, password and Captcha code and click on Login.
- Now enter all the required details such as your name, father’s name, address etc.
- Upload and attach all the required documents.
- Finally click on Submit.
