Objective of PM YASASVI Scheme
The main objective of this program is to identify and provide scholarship opportunities to the candidates from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and Denotified Tribes (DNT) categories in Class IX and Class XI. This initiative aims to select beneficial students based on a competitive examination that will be conducted by the national test agency NTA and subsequently award scholarships to enable them to attend the best top schools as determined by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJ&E). The authorities of NTA will organize a fair examination process for students, to identify the talented and deserving students base on their academic performance, potential, and capabilities. By awarding scholarships, the scheme seeks to facilitate access for selected students to attend Top Schools that have been recognized and designated by the MSJ&E for their academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria
- This scholarship program is only available for the students of India.
- Students who fall under OBC/EBS/DNT SAR/NT/SNT are eligible for this program.
- Those who want to get this opportunity should have completed their 8th so that they can sit on the 9th examination.
- The annual income of the family should not be more than 2.5 is necessary.
- Candidates who are going to apply for 9th should have been born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008, which is necessary for the scholarship.
- Those who are going to apply for 11th should have been born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
- Under this program there is no gender inequality, all the eligible students can apply.
