Objective of Umbrella Scholarship 2024-25
The main objective of the scholarship is to send all students to college or school from pre-matric to post-matric level. The purpose of this scholarship is to help students who are unable to afford their higher education institution’s fees financially. If they receive a quality education, either an improvement in our nation or a change in their personal life will occur.
Benefits of Umbrella Scholarship 2024-25
Pre-Matric Scholarship
Monthly maintenance allowance for day students is Rs. 150 and for hostellers is Rs. 350. For hostellers, a book and ad hoc allowance of Rs. 1000 annually and for day students, Rs. 750 annually. For students with impairments, there is an additional payment of Rs. 240 per month.
Post-Matric Scholarship
Research scholars may be charged up to Rs. 1600 for the typing and publishing of their theses. Study tour fees for the chosen individuals might total up to Rs. 1600 a year. A one-time payment of Rs. 1,200 for prescribed or essential literature. Applicants pursuing correspondence courses will have their course expenses reimbursed. A maintenance payment of up to Rs. 1200 for hostellers and up to Rs. 550 for day students is provided to the scholars each month.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of this scholarship is given below:
- The applicant must be an Arunachal Pradesh resident.
- He or she needs to fall under the ST group.
- The pre-matric scholarship is available to students attending Government, State or Central Board schools who are pursuing education in Classes 9 and 10.
- The pre-matric scholarship applicants’ total yearly family income cannot be more than Rs. 2,00,000.
- The student will need to be pursuing education at the post-matriculation level (Class 11 and above).
- The post-matric scholarship applicant’s total yearly family income cannot be more than Rs. 2,50,000.

Applying Procedure of Umbrella Scholarship 2024-25
- First you have to visit the Official Website of the NSP.
- The homepage will appear on your screen.
- Click on the New Registration tab.
- A new page will appear on your screen.
- You will see the scholarship rules on your screen.
- Click Continue after selecting the checkboxes for undertaking.
- The application form will appear on your screen.
- Select the state of domicile and enter the Scholarship Category, Scholarship Scheme Type, Name, Gender, DOB, Mobile Number and Email ID.
- Enter the bank details such as bank Name, IFSC Code, Account Number, etc.
- Select the Aadhar Card/bank Account as identification details.
- Click on the register button.
- Verify your mobile number.
- You only submit one application; sending more than one will result in the form being canceled.
- An application ID and password are created upon successfully completing the form and should be kept for future use.
