Eligibility Criteria
Telangana Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare:
- The following students are eligible for this scholarship SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minority, and Disabled.
- They have to be in classes 9 and 10 studying.
- Families with SC/ST and BC/Minority welfare students in urban areas should earn less than Rs 2 Lakh annually, families with BC/Minority welfare students in rural areas should earn less than Rs 1.5 Lakh annually, and families with EBC/disabled welfare students should earn less than Rs 1 Lakh annually.
- After each period, the students must also have an attendance of 75% or above.
Telangana Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare:
- The scholarship is available to students who fall under the welfare categories of SC, ST, BC, EBC, or disabled.
- After each quarter, they had to have completed class 10th with at least 75% attendance.
- Post-matriculation studies (class 11 to post-graduation) are eligible for the funding.
Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi Telangana:
- Graduate students from Backward Classes who wish to enroll in a postgraduate program at a foreign university are eligible for the award.
- In fields such as engineering, management, pure sciences, arts, social sciences, agriculture sciences, and medicine & and nursing, they must have received at least 60% of the possible points in their foundation degree.
- As of 1st July the application year, the student’s age cannot exceed 30 years old.
- In rural regions, the family’s yearly income should not exceed Rs 1.5 Lakh, while in urban areas, it should not exceed Rs 2 Lakh.
- The student has to be the only child in the household.
Telangana National Talent Search Examination:
- Students in class 10 who are enrolled in approved Telangana schools are eligible to take the test.
- Students enrolled in class 10 who have previously been selected for the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) may also apply but only if they choose not to pursue additional NMMS recognition.
Telangana National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS):
- The student must be a permanent resident of Telangana and qualify for the disabled welfare, SC, ST, BC, or EWS programs.
- Students have to be registered in 9th or 10th grade classes.
- In urban regions, the yearly income cannot exceed Rs. 2,00,000 while in rural areas, it cannot exceed Rs. 1,50,000.
- At least 75% of the students should be present.
Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities:
- If they pass the class 10th/SSLC test, students from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Maharashtra are eligible for scholarships.
- The candidate must be prepared to study for a postgraduate or Ph.D. in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, or Australia overseas.
- The yearly income should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 in any given year.
Vidyadhan Scholarship Program:
- The scholarship is available to students from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Maharashtra who have completed their class 10 or SSLC.
- The family’s combined annual income should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
