Eligibility Criteria
Some of the eligibility criteria for this scholarship are given below:
Post Matric Scholarship for SC:
- The applicant must live in Odisha.
- The applicant’s household income cannot be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year.
- The applicant must be enrolled in any of the courses listed under Groups I, II, III, and IV to continue their post-matric studies.
- The applicant must be registered in a government-funded or privately acknowledged institution.
Post Matric Scholarship for ST:
- The applicant must live in Odisha.
- The candidate’s household income cannot be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year.
- The candidate must be registered in any of the post-matric courses listed under Groups I, II, III, and IV.
- The student must be registered in a government-funded or privately authorized educational institution.
Post Matric Scholarship for OBC/SEBC:
- The applicant must live in Odisha.
- The applicant’s household income cannot exceed Rs 1 lakh per year.
- The candidate must have passed the prior test with at least 50% of the possible points.
- The candidate must be enrolled in any of the courses listed under Groups I, II, III, and IV to continue their post-matric studies.
- The candidate has to be registered in either a public or private university.
Post Matric Scholarship for EBC:
- The applicant must live in Odisha.
- The applicant’s family’s total yearly income from all sources cannot be more than Rs.1 lakh.
- The applicant may only be pursuing higher education from government institutions.
- The applicant has to be registered in any of the programs listed in Groups I, II, III, and IV.
- The EBC of the General category is the only group eligible for this scholarship.
