Maulana Azad Scholarship 2023
Maulana Azad Education Foundation has launched a scholarship by name Maulana Azad Scholarship 2023 for the needy students from weaker section of the society. It was launched in the year 2002 and 2023. In this scholarship there are two types of scholarship. Both are providing large amount of awards to the needy students of India. This is for the students who are unable to pay the fee of the college because high fee according to their financial condition. Of the most famous scholarship under Maulana Azad Education Foundation is Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship. Begum Hazrat Mahal scholarship is only for the girl students studying across India. By this scholarship minority students can get a large amount of scholarship to study anywhere in India. It’s a national scholarship and is available for the minority students.

Eligibility Criteria
There are two types of scholarship is present in the Maulana Azad Education Foundation those are Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship and Maulana Azad Fellowship. Eligibility criteria for both the scholarships are given below sepretely :-
For Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship
- This scholarship is only for the girl students.
- The applicant must belong to any of these categories or religion:-
- Musilm
- Christian
- Buddhists
- Jain
- Parse
- Applicant must be studying in class from 9th to 12th.
- The applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the previous class.
- The annual household income should not be more than 2lakh.
- The scholarship is not applicable to more than two students from the same family.
For Maulana Azad Fellowship
- The applicant must belong to any of these categories or religion:-
- Muslim
- Christian
- Buddhists
- Jain
- Parse
- Sc
- St
- The applicant must be pursuing a regular/full time M.Phil/PH.D. Course in university/academic institution.
- The annual income from all sources of the family should not exceed INR 2.5lakh.
- Student should have secured a minimum score of 50% at post graduate level.
- Transgender candidates are also eligible to apply under the scheme.
- The reservation followed is as per the Government of India norms.
Incentive Amount
If you are eligible for one of these scholarships then you can get following incentives:-
For Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship
- For class 9th and 10th INR 5,000 per students for tuition fee, books & stationery expenses boarding/lodging charges.
- For class 11th and 12th INR 6,000 per student for college school fee, books & stationary expense, boarding/lodging charges.
For Maulana Azad fellowship:-
- For class 9th and 10th INR 10,000 in two installments of INR 5,000 each
- For class 11th and 12th INR 12,000 in two installments of INR 6000 each.
For Begum Hazrat Mahal-
- Fellowship Amount-
- Rs.25,000/- per month for the first 2 years (JRF)
- Rs.28,000/- per month for the remaining years (SRF)
- Contingency for Humanities, Social Sciences, and Commerce-
- Rs.10, 000/- per year for the first 2 years
- Rs.20, 500/- per year for the remaining time
- Contingency for Science-
- Rs.12, 000/- per year for the initial 2 years
- Rs.25, 000/- per year for the remaining time
- Escorts/Reader Assistance-
- Rs.2,000/- per month in cases of physically and visually challenged candidates

Maulana Azad Scholarship 2023 Application Process
- To apply for the Maulana Azad Scholarship 2023 first of all you have to visit the official website of the Maulana Azad Education Foundation.
- Home page will open on your computer screen.
- Click on the scheme button given on the left side of the page.
- A new webpage will appear on your screen with schemes under Maulana Azad Foundation.
- Select the scholarship according to your eligibility.
- Another webpage of National Scholarship Portal will appear.
- Now you have to follow given steps.
Registration:-
- For Registration First of all you have to go to the Official Page of the NSP Scholarship
- Home page will appear on your screen
- Look for the option Applicant Corner and click on that
- Now click on New Registration
- New page will open on your screen
- Read all the Instructions given on the page
- Mark the Declaration
- Now click on the “Continue” button given on the page
- Fresh Registration page will appear on your screen
- Select the State, Select the Scholarship Category, select Scheme Type and select the Gender
- Enter your Name, Date of Birth , Mobile Number, Email ID, Bank Account Details with IFSC code and choose your Identification Details
- Now enter the Captcha code and click on “Register” button given on the page
Login:-
- To login First of all you have to go to the official page of the NSP Scholarship
- Home page will appear on your screen
- Look for the option Applicant Corner and Click on that
- In the Login Corner click on the Fresh Application
- New page will appear on your screen
- Now login using Credentials.
- Now enter your Details
- Click on the option called “Save & Continue”
- Upload your Documents
- Now click on the option called “Final Submission”
- The application form will be successfully submitted.
Renewal Process
- To Renewal your Application visit the official website of NSP Scholarship
- Go to the Applicant Corner and click on Renewal Application
- Login page will appear on your screen
- Enter Application ID ,Password and Captcha
- Now click on Login
- Your application will appear on your screen
- Now you can Renewal the Application
