The Pre-Matric Scholarship has been instituted for Manipur students now enrolled in the 9th or 10th standard who are members of the Scheduled Caste. The goal of this scholarship is to support gifted children in completing their secondary school, which is crucial to their future success. The Manipur Post-Matric Scholarship is available to students who are presently enrolled in class 11 or 12 or graduation, post-graduation, or Ph.D. programs and who are members of the Scheduled Caste. The goal of this scholarship is to motivate gifted students to finish their education, as education is vital to a student’s life. A set amount of financial aid will be provided to the chosen applicants. Their bank account will receive the scholarship payment. Additionally, students will receive help with their thesis typing and study trips. The scholarship money will be awarded to them till their current course is finished. Students will be able to finish their higher education from graduation to post-graduate level due to this scholarship. Economically disadvantaged students will be able to finish their higher education in the state or outside of it but still inside the nation due to this scholarship.

- To be admitted to higher education courses administered by the Board of Higher Education or at a state university recognized by the state, students must be members of the Other Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes, and Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi Nomadic Tribes.

Wagh Bakri Scholarship 2023-24

Students will be able to finish their higher education from class 9 to class 10 standard due to this scholarship. Merit Scholarship Scheme for Scheme for Class 10 and 12 Manipur
To help students in classes 10 and 12 continue their studies without financial hardship, the Merits Scholarship Scheme was established. Higher education is becoming unaffordable for students from lower-income backgrounds as is well known. The government will provide financial aid to the first 300 students who pass their 10th or 12th-grade examination from the board of secondary education to support these deserving students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants who work a full-time job are unable to receive this award.
- Scholarships of any kind from any source should not be awarded to students.
- Any student who passed their qualifying exam before the year they applied for the Merit Scholarship is ineligible.
State Merit Scholarship Education-U-Manipur
State Merit Scholarship Education will be implemented for Manipur students to provide them with financial aid, according to the Directorate of University & Higher Education, Manipur. The scholarship will enable financially disadvantaged students to finish their postsecondary education within the state or outside of it, all within the United States. Based on their pursuit of courses until course completion, students at the graduation or post-graduate level will get a scholarship amount.
