Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a collaborative CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) of Kotak Mahindra Group companies and Kotak Education Foundation to promote education and livelihood among economically weak section of society. This scholarship aims to offer financial assistance to commendable girl students from the families whose annual family income is below INR 6,00,000 (Rupees Six Lakh). Under this project authorities are going to support the girl students financially to help them in pursuing higher education.

Objective Of Kotak Kanya Scholarship
The objective of Kotak Kanya Scholarship is to offer financial assistance to meritorious girl students from low family income to empower them to pursue higher studies after class 12th. Along with the financial support the key objective is to provide mentorship support, English communication training and academic support required for holistic development.
Benefits Of Kotak Kanya Scholarship
- Scholarship Amount of Rs. 1.5 Lakh per year will be given to each selected scholar till the completion of her graduation course. It is helpful for the girls who are economically weak and want to pursue their professional degree course. This scholarship amount will cover tuition fee, hostel fee and other academic expenses.
- Note: Scholarship selection and amount is based on fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and will be at the discretion of Kotak Education Foundation
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian girl students
- Meritorious girl students who have scored 85% or more or equivalent CGPA in 12th board examination
- Annual family Income should be less than INR 6,00,000/-
- Meritorious girl students who have secured admission to first-year graduation programs in the Academic Year 2023 from institute of repute (NIRF/NAAC accredited) for professional graduation courses like Engineering | MBBS | Integrated LLB (5 years) or other professional courses like (Design, architecture etc.)
- Children of employees from Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply for Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023
Selection Process For Kotak Kanya Scholarship
- Students will get select on the basis of academic excellence (merit based) and financial qualifications
- Selected candidates will go through two interviews
- Final selection and awarding of the scholarship depend on the sole discretion of Kotak Education Foundation

Kotak Kanya Scholarship Renewal Application
You will be required for Scholarship Renewal after completion of 1st year for rest duration of the course every year. To get renewal, applicants need to maintain academic performance with no dropouts from regular academic sessions.
