JNCASR Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2023-24
The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research has launched the JNCASR Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2023, a fellowship programme designed for students with an interest in science and math who wish to make a positive impact on their nation. This grant is an excellent chance for students wishing to pursue careers in research. This fellowship lasts for two months.
Under this approach, selection is made only on the basis of merit. About 150 fellows are chosen annually under this program. Life Science:
- Applicants may be students enrolled in I and II years of B.Sc. (3 years), I, II and III years of B.S./B.E. /B.Tech (4 years) or comparable programs or I year of M.Sc./M.E./M. Tech (2 years); or I, II, III and IV years of International M.Sc./BS-MS (5 years).
Chemical Science:
- Applying students must be enrolled in the I, II, III and IV years of the BS-MS/International M.Sc. (5 years) and the I year of the M.Sc./M.E/M. Tech (2 years).
Chemical Biology:
- Candidates may be students enrolled in I and II years of B.Sc. (3 years), I, II and III years of B.S./B.E. /B.Tech (4 years) or comparable programs or I year of M.Sc./M.E./M. Tech (2 years) or I, II, III and IV years of International M.Sc./BS-MS (5 years);.
Physical Science:
- I year of M.Sc./M.E/M.Tech (2 years) I, II, III and IV years of Integrated M.Sc. (5 years) and I and II years of B.Sc. (3 years) are the current study periods for which students may apply.
Materials Science:
- Applying students must be enrolled in the I, II, III and IV years of the BS-MS/International M.Sc. (5 years) and the I year of the M.Sc./M.E/M. Tech (2 years).
Engineering Science:
- One may apply for I, II, III and IV years of International M.Sc./BS-MS (5 years), I year of M.Sc./M.E/M. Tech (2 years) and I, II, III and IV years of B.S./B.E/B.Tech. (4 years).
