ISDB Scholarship 2024
The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has been very keen from the outset of its establishment to focus on human capital development alongside its mainstream development financing activities. In recognition of the vital need to develop the human resources of the Muslim communities in Non Member Countries (non-MCs), IsDB launched its undergraduate Scholarship Programme (SP) in 1983 under the title Scholarship Programme for Muslim Communities (SPMC). In IsDB’s Realigned Strategy 2023-2025, the Bank dedicated an entire pillar to the support of comprehensive and inclusive human capital development. Through this pillar, IsDB aims to help MCs and Muslim Communities in non-MCs to address these challenges with capacity-development initiatives, including scholarship programme. It is also an important component of IsDB’s efforts to promote economic development and shared prosperity through the global development of human capital by investing in education.

Eligibility Criteria
There are some eligible conditions for some different courses, conditions may differ by which a candidate is eligible to gain the benefit under the scholarship programme:
IsDB Undergraduate Scholarship Programme Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should be a citizen of any of the IsDB member Countries or should be a Muslim students from a non-member country
- Aspirants must have completed senior secondary education or equivalent 12 years of education
- Applicants must have scored excellent grades in all the major subjects
- The applicant should not have received any other scholarship at the time of application or during the scholarship term
- The candidates must be medically fit and will be willing to undergo medical tests after selection
IsDB Master’s Scholarship Programme Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should be a citizen of any of the IsDB member Countries or should be a Muslim students from a non-member country
- Aspirants must have completed a graduation with excellent academic grades
- The applicant should not have received any other scholarship at the time of application or during the scholarship term
- The candidates must be medically fit and will be willing to undergo medical tests after selection
IsDB PhD level Scholarship Programme Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants should have a post graduate degree in one of the approved fields of Sustainable Science
- The candidates should have a very good academic record preferably with some work/research experience
- The candidates should have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the program including details of its scientific and development related to the community/country
- The candidates must be medically fit and will be willing to undergo medical tests after selection
IsDB Post Doctoral Research Scholarship Programme Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in one of the approved fields of sustainable science
- Aspirants must have a very good academic record within 2 years of research experience
- The candidates should have a record of publications/research in the same field
- The applicant should have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the program including details of its scientific and development related to the community/country
- The candidates must be medically fit and will be willing to undergo medical tests after selection
