Performance Details
- In athletics, only individual events will be considered. Cross country events will not be considered
- In archery, all the categories like recurve, compound and Indian round will be considered for slection.
- in swimming only individual events will be considered and categories such as free style, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly will be considered.
- Events under artistic gymnastics will be considered.
- In kabaddi, beach kabaddi will not be considered.
- In volleyball, futsal/ 7 a-side football particiapation will not be considered.
- In hockey, 5-a-side tournaments will not be considered.
- In chess, only events under classical time control will be considered.
- In the case of team games, representation in the latest national level tournament(national tournament immediately preceding the date of advertisement) will be considered.
- In case there are more eligible candidates than the vacancy, the player representing the state which has reached a higher level in nationals will be considered. If there is more than one candidate who has reached the same level in the national championship, then the player younger in age will be given preference.
- In the case of individual games, ranking/position in the latest national tournament(national tournament immediately preceding the date of advertisement) will be considered.
- In case there are more candidates than the vacancy, the player having the beeter ranking will be considered.
- In the case of the same ranking in two different levels(i.e. for example sub-junior and junior), the player participating in the senior level of the two will be given preference.
- In any game, the sports federation of that game is not recognized by the ministry of youth affair & sports, scholarships in that game will not be awarded.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants should age between 13 years to 19 years.
- The performance of 1st year extends the period of the next year.
- The documents of the student will be verified with the original IOC- designated offices on the dates.
- The 3rd year period will be extended on the basis of 2nd year.
- The student must have an interest in sports.
- If an application is not found as per the terms and conditions then the application will get rejected.
- The students are not entitled to draw any other scholarship/financial aid/ stipend from other sources.
