- Main benefit of the scheme is prize money of up to Rupees 3,000 to 5,000 for the girl’s students scoring more than 75% marks in class 10th.
- The awards will be distributed each and every year by the education department on the day of Basant Panchami.

Features of Gargi Puraskar
- Eligible girl students who will get The prize money will only be the students who are getting more than 75% marks in class 10th or class 12th or in the entrance and senior Upadhyay examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education present in Rajasthan Ajmer.
- INR 3,000/- will be given as a prize money to the class 10th students.
- In second part INR 5,000/- Rupees will be given to the Class 12th students who have successfully scored more than 75% marks in the entrance examination.
- All of the students will be provided with the prize money respective of their caste or religion.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for this scheme:-
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- The applicant should have scored 75% or more marks in the 10th and 12th standard examinations.
- Girls of all categories can avail this scheme.
- The student should have a school certificate.
- The officer will verify all documents sought under the scheme.
- None of the parents of the girl child should be a government employee.
- The family income of the student should not exceed 1 lakh in a year.
- Only students of classes X and XII will get benefits under this scheme.
