Vidyasiri Scholarship 2023
The Vidyasiri Scholarship is a need-based scholarship provided by the Ministry of Backward Class Welare Department to support meritorious and deserving students from economically weaker sections of society.This scholarship is for the backward classs stuedents only.The scheme was launched in 2013 with an aim to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education so that they can complete their studies without any financial burden. The scholarship is available for students pursuing any undergraduate or postgraduate course in any recognized university or institute in India.
Students who are eligible for the scholarship can apply online through the official website of the Backward Class Welfare Department. The application process is simple and straightforward, and all the necessary instructions are mentioned on the website itself. After submission of the online application, candidates will be required to appear for an interview at their nearest Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK).

Eligibility Criteria

- To be eligible for the Vidyasiri Scholarship, students must:

- Have a family income of less than INR 4 lakhs per year
- Score at least 80% in their 12th grade examinations

Reward
- Under this 1000 scholarships will be provided to all the students who fall under SSLC Category.
- 500 Scholarships will be offered to those who fall under the 12-class category.
- Other 500 will be offered to candidates who are pursuing degree programs/ professional postgraduate programs.
- Candidates who belong to SSLC will get 10,100 and candidates who fall under 12 class will get 15,000.
- Degree candidates will get 20,000 and those who are pursuing postgraduation will get 25,000
