Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship 2023 Selection Criteria
The selection procedure of the scholarship is dependent on the merit list that has been allocated by quota. After the selection has been made of the student then it will be sent to two distinctive levels for further verification such as

- This scheme was launched by the department of higher education ministry of human resource development government of India to provide the financial help to the needy and meritorious students of India.
- Financial help from this scholarship will help to meet their day to day expenses while pursuing higher education.
- Main aim of launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to a student who is really good in studies.
- Around 82000 scholarships per annum are awarded to the students who are pursuing graduation, post graduation and professional courses such as medical and engineering.
- Out of 82000, there are 41000 for boys and 41000 for girl students.
Eligibility Criteria
- 80% of successful candidates in class 12th are eligible to apply under this scheme.
- An applicant must be pursuing a regular course such as medical and engineering from a recognized institute or college by AICTE, the dental council of India medical council of India.
- The annum income from all sources does not exceed more than 8 Lakh per annum from all sources.
- Students those are pursuing degree course through distance are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
