Good News to all Tamil Nadu students as the State Government of Tamil Nadu has launched ADW Scholarship Tamil Nadu 2024 which provides financial assistance and support students belonging to minority communities so that the students will be able to pursue their higher studies and can achieve their goals in career.
ADW Scholarship 2024
The ADW Scholarship is a program launched by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare along with the State Government of Tamil Nadu for meritorious students residing in Tamil Nadu. All those students who fall under minority-category and are unable to pay their academic fees for further studies can apply for this scholarship program to continue their studies in future.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a resident of Tamil Nadu for at least five years
- Applicants must belongs to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Minority Muslim category
- Converted Christians can also apply
- Class I to Ph.D. level can apply
- Family income should not exceed INR 2 Lakh per annum
- Students wanting to pursue class XI and Class XII must not have a family income more than INR 1 Lakh per annum
- Students looking for accommodation in ADW hostels must be living 5km away from their educational institution
- Previous studies should have acquired from Adi Dravidar Welfare Schools, GTR, Government or Government-aided schools

ADW Scholarship Reward Details
For School Students
- The girl students belonging to SC/ST category and studying in class III to Class V will be benefited with the scholarship amount of INR 500/- per annum
- Girl Students of class VI the scholarship amount will be INR 1000/- per annum
- Girl Students of classes VII and VIII will receive INR 1500/- per annum
- Students of class X will receive INR 1850/- by Adi Dravidar Tribal Welfare award to those students who are engaged in unclean occupation
- Day scholars in classes IX and X will receive INR 2250/- per annum
- Hostel students of classes IX and X will receive INR 4,500/- per annum
- Special extra classes will be given to students appearing for Class X and XII board examination
- Students pursuing their studies from ADW school and students living in ADW Hostel will be given four sets of uniform without any cost
- Welfare provides free guides and question banks to students appearing for Class X and XII
For College Students
- Students pursuing undergraduate and polytechnic courses will be provided the scholarship amount of INR 7,500/-
- Students will receive INR 8,000/- those who are pursuing postgraduate and professional courses
State Government also offers an ADW Award amount to students in self-finance colleges - Students pursuing for law graduation will receive the scholarship amount of up to INR 50,000/- to start their practice

- You will find the link “Online application for Scholarship” click on it
- You will be taken out to the page where you will find URL tap on it
- Select the “Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Scholarship” and fill the Registration form
- Login to your account using your ID
- Fill the ADW Scholarship form as per required information and upload mandatory documents
- After reviewing your application click on “Submit” button
- You can print a copy of the application form for future reference
