Tata Imagination Challenge 2024
The Tata Imagination Challenge 2024 of Industries established the Tata Imagination Challenge to provide college students a chance to win prizes and chances that would enable them to play a key role in the Tata Organization in the future. Both Indian students who wish to change the world and all Tata employees worldwide are eligible to enter the competition You are qualified to compete for this competition and win a lot of awards if you are pursuing any undergraduate or graduate degree in India.
Through this competition, 13 winners will be chosen and the victors will get thrilling rewards, such as a cash award of Rs. 2 lakh. Quizzes and evaluations will be part of the competition and the students will only be judged based on their performance.

Competition Schedule
- Round 1: Tata Brand Assessment: Each registered participant must complete the 30-minute quiz.

- Round 2: Gamified assessment: In this round, enrolled participants engage in an engaging and dynamic gamified evaluation that includes aspects of gaming.

- Round 3: Three Questions with a Video Submission: A List of Shortlisted Applicants from the previous stage will present their ideas in person for a two minute video presentation that includes three questions about the concept: title, abstract, impact and (What, Why, How). The shortlisted candidates will get detailed guidelines via mail for this phase.

- Idea Buddy Phase: Following Round 3, each candidate who made the short list will be paired with a young Tata leader as a partner. Developing and refining the concept to be presented in the following phase will be assisted by this idea buddy.

- Popular Choice Awards: Voting on all suggestions will be available during this round. The concepts with the highest three vote totals will be chosen based on the public vote. These will have no bearing whatsoever on the decision of the jury.

- Round 4: Grand Finale: In this round, your concept and you seize the lead! A panel of top Tata executives listens to finalists present their major ideas including the challenge they are solving and how they plan to implement the solution. The panelists will conduct interviews with the finalists in which they will discuss their adventures, goals, and objectives in life and work. The second week of November will see the Grand Finale.
Tata Imagination Challenge Competition Structure
- Treasure Hunt: A digital treasure hunt to discover the Tata universe. (This round is not preliminary.)
- Round 1: Tata Brand Assessment: How well do you believe you understand the Tata brands? Take a 30 minute exam on your knowledge about Tata companies, brands and stories by answering 20 multiple choice questions.
- Round 2: Gamified Assessment: Those who meet the requirements advance to the next level, where they take part in an engaging 30 minute gamified test.
- Round 3: Video Pitch Submissions – Make a two-minute video pitch for your concept, outlining the issue you want to solve and outlining your suggested fix and email it to us. Face to camera, MP4 format and a file size of no more than 10 MB are requirements for the videos. Additionally, respond to three asynchronous questions about your concept.
- Idea Buddy Phase: You are not traveling alone on this adventure! Following Round 3, a young Tata leader will be paired with each selected candidate. For the following round, your Idea Buddy will assist you in refining and developing your concept.
- Round 4: Grand Finale-A panel of top Tata executives will hear the finalist’s Elevator Pitch of their proposal and their Personal Pitch which focuses on their goals for their personal and professional lives. Depending on the circumstances, this might happen in person or online. The second week of November will see the organization of the Grand Finale.

Eligibility Criteria
- You are qualified for this track:
- If you are an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in college in any stream in any region of India.
- At the moment, you attend school full-time.
- You have earned your equivalent of a 10+2 diploma.
- You are enrolling in a normal, full-time degree at an Indian university or institution, either undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG).
- You are enrolled in one year management courses offered by business schools or courses authorized by the UGC or AICTE.
- This academic year’s classes have started for you.
- You’re not eligible for this track if:
- You’ve registered in a correspondence/distance education course and received an acceptance offer, but your lessons haven’t yet begun.
- You’ve finished your course or graduated from college already.
- Not that you attend school full-time.
- You are a student on a non-Tata sabbatical from your present employment.
- You will be eligible for In-House Track if:
- You work for every Tata firm or joint venture, worldwide, on a permanent basis (even those who are on sabbatical).
- You’re not eligible for In-House Track if:
- You are a professional in the workforce who is not employed by Tata Group firms or Tata Joint Venture enterprises on a permanent basis.
- You are currently employed by the Tata joint venture firm as a JV partner.
