- Scholarship amounts will vary for students who are SC and ST.
- Maintenance Allowance maximum of Rs.1,200 monthly for lodgers and Rs.550 monthly for day learners.
- There will be support for students with impairments. Rs.240 or more each month.
- Study tour costs Rs.1,600 a year.
- A book allowance is given to students enrolled in correspondence courses for the duration of the course up to Rs.1,200 annually.

Eligibility Criteria
- The students must live in Meghalaya.
- The ST community should include students.
- This scholarship will be available for any approved pre or post-matric course taken at accredited schools.
- The only candidates who will be accepted are those who belong to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Minorities.
- The student needs to live in the state of Meghalaya permanently.
- Applicants who are pursuing multiple degrees at the same educational level after completing a previous degree, such as a B. Com after a B. A or an M.A. in one subject after an M.A. in another, will not be accepted.
- candidates who after finishing their academic career in one field like LLB choose to pursue professional studies in another. You won’t be able to apply after earning your B.T or B.Ed.
- If students in postgraduate medical schools are not allowed to practice while they are registered in classes they will still be qualified.
- If candidates pass or fail undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate exams in the fields of commerce, science, or the arts and register in any accredited professional or technical certificate, diploma, or degree program they will be eligible for scholarships.
